Jim had many friends and never met a stranger. He was an excellent fisherman and loved his sons with his whole heart.
He was a proud father. He was a beloved son and brother. He will be sorely missed.

Jim was one of my closest friends. He knew and cared about anything and everything he could learn. Definitely a knower of my deepest secrets and helped me through them with no judgment. Always knew how to walk in any door with respect and sophistication. He absolutely respected everything down to the rats in the street. I learned and experienced so much with Jim even my daughter sees him as a top positive male figure in her life. My oldest daughter at the age of 18 still holds huge sentiment towards the build a bear we build together when she was 4. I think the 2 of them had more fun than I did building pretty. This is a tough loss for my family but he’s tainted us in ways we will carry on for lifetimes. When I say gone but never forgotten I absolutely mean it by definition. My heart goes out to his parents, brother, kids and the rest of the family that I’ve heard so much about over the years. His boys were his life. He always had amazing updates about Emerson and Collin and his face lit up with pride every time he got to brag on them. I am so sorry for your loss and am here if there’s any way I can help. ❤️

I have known Jim for nearly 30 years and have thought of him as a friend from the day we met. I’ll see you in that next place my friend.
