Jimmie C. Armstrong, 83, a native of Greenville, AL, and a resident of the William F. Green State Veterans Home in Bay Minette died Wednesday, November 24, 2010. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in WWII.

He is survived by 3 brothers, Billy C. Armstrong, Greenville, AL, Bobby J. Armstrong, Palm City, FL, Eddie Armstrong, Van Buren, AR; His 4 sisters, Betty Reynolds, Robertsdale, AL, Frances A. Shirley, Stapleton, AL, Alice A. Falgout, Bridge City, LA and Zirlene V. Armstrong, Virginia Beach, VA, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Inurnment will be at 1:00pm on Friday, December 10, 2010 in Sunrise Cemetery in Greenville, AL.
