Johnny Randall “Randy” Cotton, Sr, age 71, born October 12, 1952, in Mobile AL, resident of Daphne, AL, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024.  He was a member of 3 Circle Church.

Randy was a graduate of the University of Mobile.  He was ambitious from an early age and began working in his parent’s furniture store and TV repair shop as a teenager and decided, he too, would start a business.  He opened Cotton’s Furniture at the age of 20 and then went on to buy a Radio Shack franchise.  After several years he sold those businesses and opened Badcock Home Furnishings in Citronelle, AL and Leakesville, MS.  In 1991, he closed the stores and went to work at Inchcape Shipping and then transitioned to Norton Lilly International where he worked for 32 years, retiring in 2023.

When Randy was not working, he greatly enjoyed working in the yard and going on cruises.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, James “JJ” Cotton and Mildred Hembree and brother, Ricky Cotton.

Randy will be forever loved, and his memory cherished by his wife of 35 years, Angel Cotton; children, John (Jewel) Cotton of West Palm Beach, FL, Kendall (Madison) Cotton, of Daphne, AL and William (Stacey) Peavy, Citronelle, AL; and grandchildren, Juan “JT” and Taylor Cotton, of Woodbridge, VA, Christina Cotton and Cameron Hernandez, of West Palm Beach, FL.
