Johnny Wayne Vickers, Jr., 50, of the Fowl River Community, passed away February 26, 2016. He was born at Mobile Infirmary on October 15, 1965 in Mobile, Alabama to Johnny Wayne Vickers, Sr. and Phyllis Gail (Carpenter) Vickers.

Wayne was a highly accomplished welder and a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Union until his passing, having worked 22 years in Boiler Construction with Babcock & Wilcox and Enerfab.

Wayne is survived by his mother; three children, Wesley (his wife Andrea), Ashley and Quinley; and one grandchild, Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his father and grandchild, John Waylon. He also leaves behind his partner, Carolyn, and his playful cat, Pirate.
