In the short period of time, we have come to Love Joe deeply. Always happy to see you and greet you with a big smile. A Godly man who Loved and served the Lord
so faithfully. He is now for sure, singing in the Heavenly choir.
Knew Joey since mid 70’s, always a true friend. You could see a Christian in his walk of life everyday. Sure will miss him.
We loved Brother Joe. He was one of those folks that wore his Christianity on his face. He always had a happy smile and an encouraging word for all. When he became ill, his very spirit shouted that there was no bitterness in his heart, for he knew his God would be with him and knew that if this was his time, just where he was headed. We will profoundly miss him.
Charlotte, I am so very sorry to hear about Joey. He was always so nice and had a sparkle in his eyes when he smiled. I can’t help but to think of the words you spoke to me the other day; “after this surgery, he’ll be cancer free.” Indeed, today, he is cancer free.” Sending you my love and prayers.
Joey was one of a kind always with a smile and asking how are you doing
He was so much like his mama and daddy never met a stranger
