Danny and I, have been honored to know Joe over the past year. As new additions to the church, he always made us feel welcomed. He was never shy about hugs or telling us he loved us. We thank God for leading us to Heritage Church, and giving us the opportunity to know Joe and Charlotte.

We loved Brother Joe. He was one of those folks that wore his Christianity on his face. He always had a happy smile and an encouraging word for all. When he became ill, his very spirit shouted that there was no bitterness in his heart, for he knew his God would be with him and knew that if this was his time, just where he was headed. We will profoundly miss him.

Charlotte, I am so very sorry to hear about Joey. He was always so nice and had a sparkle in his eyes when he smiled. I can’t help but to think of the words you spoke to me the other day; “after this surgery, he’ll be cancer free.” Indeed, today, he is cancer free.” Sending you my love and prayers.
