December 15, 1936 – December 30, 2010 In Loving Memory.
Joseph T. “Joe” Williams, born December 15, 1936, passed away December 30, 2010. He was a native of Mobile and a resident of Daphne.
Joe was a long time member of Tinker Coon Hunting and Fishing club. Joe and his wife Kay had a lifelong passion for cooking and entertaining family and friends.
Joe was the premier joke teller and the life of the party and a generous host.
He was a long time member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope, AL.
He is predeceased by his parents, Frank “Ted” and Annie B. Williams, and his sister, Norva Potter.
Joe is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary “Kay” Haas Williams; children, Joseph D. “Jody” Williams, twin daughters, Leigh McArthur & Lynn Cook; grandchildren, Austin Prator, Brittany Prator Weaver, Bonnie Richards, Dillon Williams, Katelyn Williams, Nelson McArthur and his sister, Bobbi Busby.
The family would like to add a special thanks to Frank Haas and Ted Clayton for their dedicated friendship. Also the Daphne Fire Department for their dedicated efforts and to Covenant Hospice for their compassion and loving care.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday January 4, 2010 at 11 am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1505 Main St. Daphne, AL with visitation starting at 9:30 am until service time. Inurnment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
Following the interment refreshments will be served at Jody and Jill Williams’ home, 6403 Captains Lane, Daphne, AL.
