Joyce Brown Wiggins, 68, of Spanish Fort, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013. Mrs. Wiggins was a native of Mexia, Alabama and a longtime resident of Spanish Fort. She was employed as an administrative assistant with the Alabama Department of Transportation for 16 years, retiring in 2012. Joyce attended Old Spanish Fort Baptist Church (now Faith Family Fellowship) for many years and would have celebrated 50 years of marriage to Charles in July. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Charles Edward Brown, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Edward Wiggins; daughter, Susan Angela Wiggins (Christopher James Hughes) of Rancho Cucamonga, CA and her granddaughter, Dalton Scarlett Hughes; many other relatives and very special friends at ALDOT Mobile, Alabama.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Beatrice Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 2pm. The family will receive friends at Hughes Funeral Home in Daphne from 9:30 am to 11:00 am Saturday morning. Interment will be in Pineville Cemetery in Beatrice.
