Judy Lee (Bevington) Wheatley, 83, of Kittanning, PA and a resident of Daphne, AL, died March 21, 2026, at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, AL.
Judy graduated from Kittanning High School, class of 1960. She retired from Martin Marietta in Denver, CO. While residing in Colorado, Judy loved hiking, camping and going to concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Authentic Mexican restaurants were always a favorite spot when entertaining family and out of town friends.
After retirement, Judy made a move to the sunshine and warm weather of Daphne, Alabama, where she spent 22 years of enjoying the quietness and quaintness of her home, along with the soft breezes and songs of the many birds, while attending to her flowers and plants of her deck.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Winaford T. Bevington and Bernice L. Bevington; her sister, Linda K. Lash; her son, Robert T. Wheatley; and beloved pets, Zoe and KiKi.
She is survived by her sister, Sherry L. Rihel (Paul) of Mars, PA; niece, Shelly Lash of Ford City, PA; nephew, Shane W. Lash (Dee) of Ford City, PA; great nephews, Adam Englert, Justin Lash, Jacob Lash and Ryan Lash, all of Ford City, PA; special friends, Barbara Green of Denver, CO and Jane and John Morgan of Daphne, AL; and special cousin, Paul (Lee) Bevington of Worthington, PA.
Services will be in Daphne, AL at a later date.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of a great friend, Judy. We shared many laughs on the phone and I had hoped to see her in person one day. My sincere condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time Sandy Starr.
