Julia Kathleen Young, 93, of Gulf Shores, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012. She was born in Letart Falls, Ohio and worked as a social worker and registered nurse.

Survivors inlcude her daughter, Barbara Ruth Young of Gulf Shores and other relatives.

Burial will take place later in Ohio.

Funeral arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home & Crematory of Daphne.
