In Loving Memory

January 13, 1935 – April 17, 2014

Kathryn Naomi Kohn, age 79, of Daphne, AL died Thursday, April 17, 2014. In Kathryn’s spare time she loved to read, to travel, especially to casinos, and going to garage sales were one of her favorite things to do.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents, John K. and Olive Byrne of Belding, MI; husband, William P. Kohn of Grand Rapids, MI; brother, Kaye Byrne of Grand Rapids, MI, and sister, Joyce Ward.

She is survived by her four daughters, Micki L. Kohn of Daphne, AL, Shelly M. Battjes of Daphne, AL, Kim Quist of Cedar Springs, MI, and Traci Sadvari of Grand Rapids, MI; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Mass was held at Christ the King Church of Daphne, AL on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to USA Mitchell Cancer Institute in Fairhope, AL. 188 Hospital Dr. Fairhope, AL 36532. www.usahealthsystem.com/mci.
