Kris K. Shamloo, 51, born in Tehran, Iran and a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013. Kris was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving as a Special Agent, Air Force Office of Investigation. During his time in the Air Force, he and his family had the opportunity to travel to many places around the United States and Europe. He was an accomplished artist, car enthusiast and customizer with the ability to envision a project and create it with exacting attention to detail. He will forever be missed by his family and friends. Preceding him in death are his wife, Maureen O’Flynn Shamloo and his father, Mehdi Shamloo.
Surviving are his son, Donovan O’Neil Shamloo; two brothers, Kavoos (Krystina) Shamloo and Cory Shamloo and sister in law, Elaine Shamloo; his mother, Nooshin Rahbar Shamloo, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Hughes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00noon until service time. Interment with full military honors will be in Jubilee Memorial Gardens. Expressions of condolence may be made at hughesfh.com. I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are never alone. You can find much comfort in the Holy Scriptures which assures us at Psalms 34:18 that God is near to those broken at heart and crushed in spirit. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I knew Kris back in Sacramento. He was a good man, and an honest man. I saw his integrity as a loyal husband and father tested, and he passed the test. He fought the good fight and finished the race that was set before him. I am honored to have known him for a short while. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. I look forward to meeting him again one day, for I feel certain his name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
