Linda Sue Daw, a native of Bay Minette, AL and a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 75.

Linda was a 1968 graduate of Baldwin County High School.  She worked for Kyla Kelim Law Firm and retired from Baldwin County Board of Education, where she worked as an administrator.  Linda was a member of Eastern Shore Baptist Church.  She fostered kittens for The Haven for over 16 years. Linda loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Vaiden Dorman and Viona Overstreet Dorman; sister, Ruby Dean Peacock (Alton); one brother, Arnold Lee Dorman; niece, Johnnie Mae (Dorman); and nephew, Gary Peacock.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Daw, Jr.; her children, Monica Patience Palmer (Randall) and Mike Patience (Pam); grandchildren, Devin Burk and Aaron Burk (Victoria); two great-grandchildren, Katie Burk and William Burk; one brother, Richard Dorman; along with nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm until the service time. Officiating will be Dr. Stuart Davidson. She will be laid to rest immediately following the service in Jubilee Gardens of Daphne.
