Linda E. Allison, a native of Cameron, MO and a resident of Daphne, AL, passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 78.

Linda loved tending to her plants, spending time in her yard, and RVing from Gulf Shores to the Smoky Mountains.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Dean E. Humphrey and Fern A. Humphrey, and her oldest son, Michael Blackwood.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jon Allison; two sons, Jonathan (Amber) Blackwood and Patrick Blackwood; stepson, Chad Allison; stepdaughter, Tara Bash; a loving host of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronn Humphrey (TK); and special friends, Sharon Parra, Deana Borland and Bonnie Kay Morgan.

Our mom touched so many lives while she was here. She had a sweet soul and never met a stranger that she couldn’t befriend and be cutting up with, only in just a few minutes…even though Jon was just trying to get home. You also knew that when you called her, your schedule better be clear. She was just loving, kind, and wanted to make sure everybody was doing good. She was an amazing mother to her 3 sons, an amazing grandmother to her many grandkids, an amazing wife to Jon and an amazing daughter to her parents, Dean and Fern Humphrey.

In her last few weeks she could give a small grin, a quiet “I love you” or kiss on the cheek and everything felt normal again. She will be truly missed by all of us here, and the many that aren’t…but all of us know that Heaven’s gained a truly amazing woman. We love you mom!!!
