It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Sue Robertson Jennings of Fairhope, Alabama, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the age of 66. Linda was surrounded by her three beloved sons and close family as she departed this earth for the arms of her Lord.

Linda was born on February 4, 1959, to Gary L. Robertson and Patsy (Whitehead). A native of Oklahoma and a longtime resident of Fairhope, Linda was deeply loved by many within her community. Throughout her life, she was defined by her unwavering commitment to family and friends, her tireless work ethic, and a fiery spirit that will be profoundly missed. Always in motion, she was often described as “the hardest working woman you will ever meet.”

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruce Jennings; her father, Gary L. Robertson; her sister, Beth Whitehead Bozarth; her brother, Michael Robertson; and her sister, Garril Robertson Mixson.

She is survived by her parents, Erroll and Patsy Whitehead of Fairhope; sons, Kevin Vaughn of Cullman, William Rouse (MaryBeth) of Silverhill, and Zackary Kesterson (Brittany) of Fairhope; sister, Connie Hurston (Len) of Marion; brother, Steven Whitehead (Terri) of Birmingham; nine grandchildren, Nathaniel, Whitney, Katie, Jordan, Alan Michael, Jackson, Averie, Ellinor, and Colin; and additional family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service honoring Linda will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Zackary Kesterson on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Linda’s remains will be laid to rest with her husband in a private interment at a later time.
