Tribute

Lisa Ann Mancill, 60, a native of Augusta, GA, and resident of Spanish Fort, AL, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019.

Lisa was employed at Mobile Infirmary for over 30 years as a Physical Therapist Assistant and also served as the PTA Caucus Representative for the Alabama Physical Therapy Association. She was a big supporter of a number of charities, including Habitat for Humanity, Sierra Club, The Salvation Army, and the Spanish Fort Fire Department.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Marion R. Haralson; and her sister, Ellen Renee Haralson-Arrington.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Robert L. Mancill; one daughter, Ashley L. Mancill, of North Carolina; her mother, Mary Doris Horne-Haralson of Georgia; sisters, Mary Lynn Haralson-Dalton of Florida and Elizabeth Carol Haralson of Georgia; and her feline fur-baby, Snoopy. She leaves behind a number of close friends and neighbors, as well as cherished co-workers from her time at Mobile Infirmary. Lisa was well known and respected in the health care field.

A private family service will be held Sunday.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that others honor Lisa by giving—whether it is monetarily to a cause or organization they care about, their time through volunteering, or just a simple act of kindness to a neighbor or stranger.

Expressions of condolence for the family may be made at www.hughesfh.com.  Hughes Funeral Home, 7951 American Way, Daphne, AL, is assisting the family.

I am so sorry for your loss. The world lost a beautiful soul and heaven gained a 5 star angel. I worked with Lisa at Thomas Hospital as a Rehab Tech. She was always so kind and funny. We shared the same birthday. I loved my friend .
