Lois Marie Johnson was loved and known by many, and at age 84, she quietly passed away into her Heavenly eternal home on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Lois was born in Perdido, AL and moved to Spanish Fort, in 1957.
She was a profound Christian, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She created a beautiful spiritual Christian home for her family and loved her books. Her children will never forget how hard she worked in this life for her family, and she was a special, loving Christian mother and was a cherished friend to many.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charles C. Johnson. She is survived by her children, Danny Johnson (Suzy), Randall Johnson, Karen Restrepo, Gwendolyn Green and Brandy Johnson; grandchildren, Kristy, Sandy, Danny, II, Ryan, Jeremy, Brandy and Michael; her great-grandchildren, Jobey, Garrek, Elijah, Penelope, Jude, Elliot, Danny, III, Eli, Izaiah and Chloe Mae; many brothers, sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at her beloved church, New Life Assembly of God, 10424 Old Hwy. 31, in Spanish Fort, AL at 11:00 AM. A time of visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at Wilson Cemetery in Spanish Fort, just down the street from the family home, on Cemetery Road. Rev. Ferron Smith will be conducting the service.
