Lt. Col. (Ret.) Bobby Varnell Whitaker, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at the age of 83.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020 at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 34904 Hwy. 225, Spanish Fort, Ala., at 1:30 PM.
