Mae Belle Ikner Perry, 91, a longtime resident of Daphne, AL, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025. She was born on August 4, 1934, in Monroe County, AL
Mae Belle retired from Gayfers/Dillards Department Store. Some of her hobbies included cooking, crocheting, reading, and gardening. Mae Belle loved her family and always placed their interests above her own. One of her favorite ways to show her love to her family and friends was through cooking, and she was an amazing cook.
Mae Belle is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Clayton E. Perry. She was one of six children and the last to survive.
She is survived by her children, Donald Clay Perry (Jackie) of Stapleton, AL and Susan Michelle Perry of Daphne, AL; her grandson, Jason Lyons; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews, long-time neighbors, and friends.
A graveside funeral service will be held at Jubilee Memorial Gardens, 27896 AL Hwy. 181, Daphne, AL, on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 11AM.
Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL, is assisting the family.
Ms Mae Belle was definitely one of my sweetest patients. Always smiling and had a story to tell me. She will be missed. Sending love to Michelle and family.
