Paula Marilyn Walley, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the age of 81.
Marilyn attended Mobile General School of Nursing in the 1960s and later received a BS Degree in Nursing from USA while serving as an RN for 50 years. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling, flowers, reading and doing volunteer work.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her brothers, Lamar Pugh, James Pugh, Bernard Pugh and Donnie Rowell; sister, Louise Breckinridge; and her mother, Ada Rowell.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, James B. Walley; two sons, Michael Walley of Daphne, AL and Scott Walley of Orange Beach, AL; and one grandson, Jason Walley of Tennessee.
A celebration of life service will be held at Eastern Shore Baptist Church in Daphne, AL, on Monday, May 18, 2026. There will be a time of visitation beginning at 12PM followed by the service at 1PM.
