Mark Stephen Pierce, age 50, of Redwater, died Monday, March 5, 2007 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Mark was born in Montgomery, Alabama. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years,Cathy, children, Vanessa, Kevin (Keara) and Cameron; parents, Loren (Uncle Pete) and Aunt Edna; brother John (Shirley); sisters, Margaret and Elizabeth (Bob); 4 grandchildren, Emma, Ellissa, Kody and Kyle and sons of his heart, Jason (Crystal) Hart and Mathew (Tiffany) Leitch. He was a faithful and devoted husband, father, grandfather, church member and friend. Mark worked for 26 years at the Redwater Fertilizer Plant, devoting his time to his work as a Millwright for a number of years and then as an IT Computer Analyst. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Edmonton, AB. Memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Society. Sturgeon Memorial Funeral Chapel is directing (780)921-3900.
