In Loving Memory

Mary Beth Mase

November 13, 1959 - February 12, 2019

Tribute

Mary Beth Mase, 59, a native of Glen Carbon, IL and a resident of Spanish Fort, AL, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019.

Mary Beth was a dedicated mother and Nana and was always thinking of others instead of herself, no matter how she felt, which is the perfect example of a true relationship with God and how to have a heart for others.  She was an angel lent to us for a season, now she is back where she belongs, in the throne room in the presence of her King.  And we know for certain that she is in no  more pain!!

Mary Beth is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ilene Britt;  father-in-law, Charles Mase; and her brothers, Mike and Dennis Britt.  She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Curt Mase; children, Cheryl Meadows of Troy, IL and Malia Mase, of St. Charles, MO; four grandchildren, siblings, Tim Britt of Oran, MO and Patti Bravard of Mt. Vernon, IL; mother-in-law, Joan Mase; her very special friends, Judy Indecott, Kristi Duelm ad Maggie Olsen, other wise known as the “Two of the three Musketeers”.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to MAPP Children & Family Life Program at USA Women’s & Children’s Hospital, 1700 Center Street, Mobile, AL 36604.

Family will have a Life Celebration for Mary Beth at a later date both here in Alabama and in Granite City, IL.

Expressions for the family may be made online at www.hughesfh.com.  Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mary Beth was truly a Child of God. She glowed with the Spirit and touched everyone she met in a special way. Mary is at peace now. We will all be together again when the time comes. Until then, I will never forget the impact this beautiful lady had on my life. I love you and absolutely miss you more than I thought possible. RIP my beautiful friend.

My thoughts are with Mary Beth’s family and friends. Our families have been friends for decades. She was such a sweet girl her entire life. She had a beautiful family and a devoted husband and children she cherished. She’s with God now and not in pain. God Bless you all.
