Mary Kosko Bonner, a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the age of 73.
Mary was a 1965 graduate of Murphy High School. She retired from MAWSS after 24 years of service. Mary was great at sewing and was a wonderful cook. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association for several years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph P. Kosko and Violet L. Kosko; her nephew, S. Andrew Tatum; and her maternal grandmother, Laura G. Chighizola.
Mary is survived by her husband of 49 years, Michael W. Bonner; one daughter, Ashleigh G. Higgins of Gulf Shores; siblings, Katherine A. Tatum, Patricia A. Tyrrell, and Marcia J. Prewitt (Edward); as well as special nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held due to restrictions from the Corona Virus.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church, 1707 Government Street, Mobile, AL 36604.
