January 7, 1931 – October 15, 2012 In Loving Memory.
Gulf Shores, AL

Mary Louise Brush, born in Greenville, MS and a resident of Gulf Shores,AL, passed away at home on Monday, October 15, 2012. Mary was an amazing and talented lady.

She was an artist who was a member and also served as an officer of the Pleasure Island Art Association and the Foley Performing Arts Association. Mary also worked at Al’s 5 & 10 for a number of years. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Brush, II, her son, Charles F. Brush, and her parents, Edmond Herschel Griffin and Mary Griffin Naro.

Surviving are her children, Laura Ann King (Robby), Bert Brush (Susan), Linda S. Renda (Matthew), and Griff Brush; grandchildren, Chris Brush (Nicole), Katherine Burcham, Daniel Brush, Taylor Schiffman, Christopher Renda, Danielle Renda, Jonah Renda, Noah Renda, Langdon King and Caleb King; one great grandson, Wesley Brush.

A Celebration of Mary’s life will be held at 11:00am, on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at The Coastal Arts Center in Orange Beach. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am. Officiating will be Chaplain Cindy Still of Community Hospice.
