Mary Teresa “Terri” Curran, 45, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015. Terri was born in Nashville, TN and raised in Daphne, AL. She and her son, Sam resided in Robertsdale where they were an integral part of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and school. She attended Christ the King School and graduated from Bayside Academy and later attended Birmingham Southern College and the University of South Alabama in Mobile.
Terri worked as a home health provider where she thoroughly enjoyed helping others and bringing a smile to their faces during her visits. Prior to that, Terri worked in the food service industry where she made many lifelong friends through her co-workers and customers. Terri was passionate about cooking, especially baking. She would always welcome an opportunity to bake something for friends, family and co-workers, ranging from formal events to a child’s birthday party.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Theresa G. Lynch and her father, William Buck Curran.
Terri is survived by her truly beloved son, Samuel Mason Curran; her mother, Mary Martha Lynch Hohl; her step father, Robert W. Hohl; her brother, W. Mason (Leslie) Curran and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 23035 AL-59, Robertsdale, AL 36567, a celebration of her life will be held following the service at The Plow, 96 Plantation Point, Fairhope, AL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s School, P.O Box 609 Robertsdale, AL 36567, to any PNC Bank Branch where an account has been set up in Terri’s honor by her friends to help benefit her son, Sam.
