A true Biker never dies. They just pass on from this world to ride in the clouds instead. Mearle was a true biker, Father, Husband, Brother and Gentleman. I find peace knowing he is in a much better place enjoying the bounty that the Lord has waiting for him. Rest peacefully my friend.

  13. Bonnie Hubbs

Always helpful. That was Mearle. Just last month, he & Joy went above and beyond for me, and Mearle fixed several things around house. figured out some stuff for me, and straightened out this dummy who had wound string on weed whacker the wrong way… He and Joy- best friends/soulmates. My heart hurts for Joy. Anthony, Kim, and extended family. R.I.P. Mearle. Can’t imagine a world without him.

Mearle and I worked together at the Coast Guard Academy Hospital in the late 70s! He was one of my best friends back then and so much fun to work with. He also has the kind of name that no one will ever forget. We generated smiles all ‘round when we’d yell out “MEARLE” any time he’d enter a clinic. Rest well buddy!
