Michael Allen Grant, Sr., age 65, a native of California and a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026.
Mike served as a United States Marine and worked as a heavy equipment operator in life. His hobbies and interests were working on cars, welding, and a whole lot of fishing!
Mike was preceded in death by three brothers, Jeff, Timothy, and Theodore; his stepfather, Joe; his mother, Hedy; his stepmother, Elsie; and his father, Harry.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy; his son, Michael A. Grant, Jr. and his 4 children; his daughter, Amanda and her 5 children; his daughter, Jessica and her 5 children; his siblings, Rick, Debi, Robert, Gwen, Clifford, and Tammy; along with 14 nieces and nephews; and his Great Dane, Bailey.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL, at 12 noon. There will be a time of visitation with family and friends before the service beginning at 11AM.
