Milton Louis Christ, a resident of Lillian, AL, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the age of 96.
He was born on August 15, 1929, in Dexter, Michigan. He lived a life rooted in hard work, devotion to family, and lasting friendships.
Milton was a tool and die maker at Buick in Flint, Michigan, where he worked until his retirement. He enjoyed camping and spending time with family and friends, particularly summers in northern Michigan at Cedar Shores and winters in Lillian Alabama. While in Lillian, Alabama, he cherished visiting with a close group of friends at the local gas station.
Milton is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Virginia Christ; his sons, Milton Christ and Charles Christ; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Christ; his parents, Charles Christ and Melinda (Schmid) Christ; his brothers, Charles Christ, Robert Christ, and Donald Christ; and his sisters, Dorothy Christ and Margaret Garvey.

Milton was an awesome neighbor at Cedar Shores. Enjoyed sitting in his swing and watching the boat and geese go by. We will miss the conversations we had with him and enjoyed all the time we had as neighbors.
What a wonderful neighbor. He and Gina helped put a small deck on my park model. He always gave good advice. He was a Godly man. I remember him saying to me if you want to know the truth, read your Bible. I will miss him. Heaven gained an angel!

The memories as a child have never left me. The horses you let me ride aunt Gena playing her organ, you racing me in the front yard. With Milton Charlie and Patrick. I remember once I asked if you could adopt me. You laughed and said you already had three boys! I was a Tomboy back then.. I will always treasure these Memories!

My Uncle Milton was a good man. He loved his family and enjoyed life. He was the last living child of our grandparents Charles and Melinda Christ. I am so glad I was able to let him know he was a huge influence on my life and that I loved him. I’m sure he has joined his heavenly family now and they have a lot to talk about. Rest in Peace Uncle Milton. 😇
