Misty Lee Rollins Stacey, age 40, born in Birmingham, and a resident of Gulf Shores for the past 5 years, died unexpectedly on Sunday November 8, 2009 at her home.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and loved them dearly.

Survivors include her devoted husband, Chris Stacey of Gulf Shores; her parents, Gene Rollins and Clara Takacs of Birmingham; 2 sons, Joey Cates of Birmingham and Christian Stacey of Daphne; 1 daughter, Ashlynn Cates of Birmingham; 1 sister, Dana Ozley of Birmingham; a half-sister, Gena Rollins of Birmingham and a step-brother, Wesley Takacs of Birmingham.

A memorial service to celebrate Misty’s life will be held at 3:30pm on Friday, November 13, 2009, at “Back by Sunset”, the home of sister in law Kimberly Balzli, 10895 Co. Rd. 1, Fairhope, on Mobile Bay.
