Patrick Knox Dominick-Conly was born on November 29, 2024, at 2:03 am, completed his earthly journey on May 5, 2026, at 6:38 AM, rocked in the arms of his mother, Kaitlynn Dominick, joined with his father, Christian Conly.

Knox is survived by Sarah Eberlein (Gigi), Chris Eberlein (PawPaw), Kelsey Dominick (Aunt Kelpy), Patrick Samual Dominick (Uncle Sam), Patrick Dominick Sr. (Papa/great-grandfather), Marilyn Ann Dominick (Nana/great-grandmother), Terry Conly (grandfather), Carlia Conly (grandmother), Taylor and Taura Conly (aunts), and a large extended family who loved and adored Knox dearly.

Knox was preceded in death by his granddad, Patrick Dominick Jr.

Knox (a.k.a. Knoxy), at 17 months old, was our bright-eyed adventurer, and lived every day with a spirited “go-go” energy that touched everyone he met. Knox had a smile that lit up the room and a giggle that melted the hearts of everyone around him.  He was full of joy and found magic in the smallest details of the world around him. He was a master of the swing set, finding his greatest joy at the park. He was absolutely obsessed with balls and his farm toys; he had just reached the precious milestone of learning his animal sounds- a moment that his family will forever treasure.

Knox delighted in being outside, loving to chase bubbles and splash in the water and puddles! If you knew Knox, you knew he was never without his two all-time favorite things; “Spunky with the cow,” his cherished lovey, and his faithful pacifier.

During his time at USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital, Knox’s vibrant personality never dimmed. He turned the hospital into his own personal playground, captivated by the colors of the fish tanks, exploring every corner of the treehouse playroom, and patrolling the halls in his push car. He found comfort and joy in the songs of his favorite “girlfriend,” Ms. Rachel, and shared a special, loyal bond with his doggy sister, Memphis!

Knox’s life was a reminder to find joy in the simple beauty that surrounds us no matter what battles we may be dealing with. His constant bright spirit and smile brought joy to anyone who had the blessing of knowing him and being a part of his short, yet impactful life.  Knox’s presence will be missed deeply, yet his family finds great comfort in knowing that he was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by Jesus and his namesake, his granddad Patrick.

A gathering to honor and celebrate Patrick Knox will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne, AL, on Saturday, May 16, 2026.  Visitation hour will begin at 9:00 AM in the Immaculata Center and Funeral Mass to begin at 10:00 AM in the main church.
