In Loving Memory
March 22, 1947 – June 14, 2015
Pauline V. Wyrie, 68, of Fairhope, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 14, 2015. Mrs. Wyrie was born in New Castle, PA and had been a longtime resident of New Philadelphia, Ohio. Pauline was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she loved snow-skiing, gardening, dancing, cooking, the beach and entertaining. She had worked in sales and marketing for a compounding pharmacy and became a recent resident of Fairhope to be close to her daughter’s family and was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, John B. Wyrie; daughter, Deanna (Tom) Brennan of Spanish Fort, AL; son, Darren (Michelle) Wyrie of Gainesville, GA; sisters, Margaret (Ben) Ward of Upland, CA and Marrianne Jording of Columbus, OH; brother, Dennis (Sherry) Matey of New Springfield, OH. Pauline had three grandchildren, Zachary Wyrie, Erica and Jared Brennan and many other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Father Steve Williams as celebrant. The family will receive friends following the mass in the Library Room in the church hall. Another service will be in Ohio on Friday, June 26, 2015. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 370 S. Section St., Fairhope, AL 36532. Expressions of condolence for the family may be made at www.hughesfh.com. Jack, Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your wife. I’m just sorry we dldn’t get to have a “face to face” when you moved to Alabama. I suspect we met when we were kids as we did visit family in New Castle & Paul Valasek sent me photos of you kids when they were youngsters for the family tree. I am have so many wonderful memories of Pauline and that amazing smile she always had on her face. Tuscarawas County will certainly miss her support and enthusiasm.
