Peggy Jean West, 68, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 12:00AM at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her loved ones. after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on August 02, 1954, in Moultrie, Georgia, to Carl and Ruby West. She went on to have 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Peggy loved road trips, shopping, and spending time with her family. She was cared for by her loving daughter, Lisa, and her loving granddaughter, Tracey. Peggy loved her family more than anything.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Lisa Schjott (Todd Schjott); her two sons, Michael Sellers (Heather Sellers) and Joseph Frechou; her grandchildren, Tracey Davis (Kyle Davis), Ashlei Goodwin, Joshua Fudge, Ashton Sellers, Ansley Sellers, and Michael Sellers, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Callie and Jayce Davis, Lily Goodwin, Luke Sikes, Gracyn Geer, Hayvn Sellers, and Lawson Jordan; and her 3 surviving siblings, Betty West, Tammy Moore, and Danny West. She was welcomed into heaven by her mother, Ruby, her father, Carl, and her sisters, Gail and Sherri.
We invite you to join the celebration of Peggy’s life at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL. There will be a time of visitation prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation to a charity of your choice.

Peggy was my older Sister whom I Loved very much she Loved her Family first and foremost she was not just a Sister but a Friend I will miss you.

I took care of miss Peggy back in 2019. I will miss her dearly Its unfortunate the terms we left each other on but I said to myself I would go by and talk to her and apologize. Time didn’t allow. Miss Peggy, I am sorry and I wish we could have patched things up. No more suffering and no more pain. I love you.
