Phyllis Ann Brooks Freeman, a native of Mobile and a resident of Daphne, AL, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the age of 77.
Phyllis loved and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and was like a second mother to many.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver F. Freeman, Jr.; her daughter, Lillian Arnette Freeman; and her parents, Henry W. Brooks and Drunette Fail Brooks.
She is survived by her daughters, Dana Freeman Bauer (Steven), Candice Freeman Nolan (Mann), and Ann Freeman Broschart (Dennis); grandchildren, Marie Bauer (Nicholas), Miranda Farmer, Bethany Freeman Blaine (Richard) and Zachary Nolan; great-grandchildren, Jude Bauer and Augusten Blaine; siblings, Jewell Sasser, Mary Jane Hanks, Donnie Tillman, Maureen Brooks, Jack Brooks and Bobby Brooks; brothers-in-law, Glen Freeman (Joyce) and Eugene Freeman; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Freeman; as well as other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Friday, March 6, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Comfort Care Hospice, 22502 US Hwy. 98, Fairhope, AL. 36532.
