Raymond F. ‘Ray’ Zalce, 72, born in Chicago, IL and a resident of Mobile, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at his home.
Ray was a veteran of the US Army where he served in Germany and was a member of the American Legion Post #76 of Mobile. He worked for 15 years as an access controls installer and was an amazing carpenter. Ray loved to bowl, but his real passion was playing golf with his buddies known as, The Tin Cup Golf Group.
He is survived by his very close friend, Hong C. Kelly, Mobile; his daughters, Dawn Salazar and Nicole Zalce, both of California; his son, Richard Kelly and his wife, Spring of Stapleton and seven grandchildren.
Services will be held at a time yet to be determined.
I am a living relative of Raymond. He was my uncle. My father was James Zalce from Buffalo Grove,IL. They also had a brother named Robert. All three brothers are now deceased and I am trying to locate the whereabouts of all my cousins. If anyone reads this please contact me at e-mail address above. Would love to hear from any of you.
