Rebecca Billie Bryars, 80, a lifetime resident of Fairhope Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.
Affectionately known as Gigi by her eight grandchildren and great grandson, Becky had a deep passion for the arts. She attended ballet class into her 70’s. She loved to play tennis and golf, was a seasoned southern creole cook, and a talented artist in many mediums. She fashioned dozens of French hand-sewn heirlooms for her grandchildren. Becky was an avid Crimson Tide football fan and loved her New Orleans Saints. In her spare time, she loved to travel, read and throw a cast net on the bay. She purposefully passed her passions to her grandchildren and enjoyed watching each one of them succeed. Becky modeled courage and perseverance in her long battle with cancer.
Becky was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Bryars; parents, Chester and Gaynelle Billie; brother, Chester Billie, Jr. and niece, Carla Billie.
