Robert Edward Bedford, affectionately known as “Reb” and/or “Rob”, was born to Betty Hall Bedford and Roger H. Bedford, Sr. on August 18, 1974, in Russellville, Franklin County, Alabama, where he lived until moving to Baldwin County in 1990. He passed into Heaven on September 17, 2019 at his home in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Robert graduated high school at Bayside Academy in Daphne, Alabama. He attended the University of Mobile, and Faulkner State Community College.
He is preceded in death by his father, Roger H. Bedford, Sr. on April 10, 2019. Also predeceasing him are his maternal grandparents, Willie Mae and Robert Smith; paternal grandparents, Helen Rogers Bedford and Whyte Bedford; a special great-aunt, Virginia Rogers; and very special niece, Tiffany Mitchell.
Along with his mother, Betty Hall Bedford, he is survived by his brothers, Ronald Daryle (Kim) Steele, John Lawson (Julia) Bedford, Roger (Maudie) Bedford, Jr.; sisters, Lisa Steele (Chris) Murr and Helen (Bill, deceased) Roberson; nieces, nephews, great nephews, one great niece; as well as a host of friends that come from his loving heart and caring spirit.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
