Rosetta Gay Sandlin, a native of Winfield, AL and a resident of Spanish Fort, AL, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the age of 72.

Rosetta was a press printer and painter. She really enjoyed sketching and playing the guitar.  She loved getting to go snow skiing and camping and always loved any chance she got to go fishing.  Rosetta loved her family, but she absolutely adored her grandchildren.

Rosetta is preceded in death by her father, Louie Bryce Sandlin; her mother, Evelyn Catherine Tidwell; and two brothers, Scotty Sandlin and Teddy Sandlin.

She is survived by her two daughters, Melody Boone of Spanish Fort, AL and Stacy Carrier of Sarasota, FL; her grandchildren, Kristian Rainey, Cooper Boone, Emery Rose Poucher and Sonny Poucher, her great-grandchildren, Kole Rainey and Khloe Rainey; her siblings, Shelia Williams-Hill, Bobby Sandlin, Sharon Watley and Randy Sandlin; and special friends, Linda Benlin and Gay Wilson.

A memorial service will be held at Abundant Life Fellowship, 2656 County Road 27, in Guin, AL,  on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 12PM.

Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL, is assisting the family.
