My heart was saddened to learn of Roy’s passing. For years we lived within a couple of blocks from each other. We went to Grammer School, Junior High School, and High School together. We were close to each other, almost as close as brothers. Unfortunately, when Roy went into the Army and left Jacksonville we lost touch with one another, but he was always in my thoughts. It is my prayer that Cynthia, Lynn, and all the rest of his family, will have the strength to overcome their grief and dwell on their memories of all the good times.

It is my belief that we will see each other again one of these days.
