Rudolf “Rudi” Werner Losch, a native of Fairfield, CT and a resident of Daphne, AL, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the age of 63.
Rudi was the founder and owner of Losch Machine, Inc. He was a member of the Fairhope Yacht Club, where he enjoyed sailing, riding his jet ski and just being on the water. Rudi was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved riding. He enjoyed traveling, swimming, music, art, hockey, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Rudi is preceded in death by his father, Rudolf Losch and his mother, Doris Losch. He is survived by his daughters, Luka Dew (Trey), Lydia Losch, and Molly Losch; his grandchildren, Madeline, Scarlett and Sawyer; siblings, Richard Losch (Linda), Ronald Losch (Shelley) and Robert Losch (Jenn); his nieces and nephews; the dedicated team at Losch Machine; as well as his dog, Boudreaux (Boo).
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Fairhope Yacht Club, 101 Volanta Avenue in Fairhope, from 11AM-1PM.

I am so sad to hear this. We were friends at Andrew Warde HS in Fairfield, CT. I also loved his mom, Mrs. Losch and was happy to volunteer for her when she was secretary of Barlow Mason house at Warde.
I came to know Rob Losch when I was a ski instructor in Breckenridge, CO. Great memories. 💕

Rudi was in my home room for four years at Andrew Warde, and his mom was the secretary in the guidance office I was assigned to. I always had a “crush” on Rudi…but he had a beautiful girlfriend…May he rest in peace.
I was childhood friends with Rudy. He lived across the street from Me. I have very fond memories playing in the neighborhood with him. Although he was on my Facebook page we had not spoke as much as I wanted as time goes by so fast. Rudy is etched in my mind from youth. Rest in Peace Rudy. I was so sad to hear about Rudi, he and I were friends from the first day we met freshman year and I visited him several times in Alabama over the last few years.Rudi and his brother Rob taught me how to ski up a mad River Glen! I had just been texting with him that Friday and he joked with me he was going to suit up to skate for the Florida Panthers! I loved Rudi!! All the Mortimers are going to pray for him and his family at this very difficult time!
God brought Rudi into our lives 15 years ago when we met our daughter-in-law. Rudi was always a happy, kind, and welcoming person. We will cherish the family parties, holidays, and school functions we were able to share with him, along with the great memories we made together. This leaves a hole in our hearts as a family. Rudi will be truly missed!

Rudi, was so kind and genuine. My brother Tony told me, Rudi was the best person he ever met years ago.. He was so kind and real. He was so nice to me in highschool. I know it has been years, since I have seen him, but we have spoken on the phone multiple times.but I know he is in HEAVEN! Rest in peace Rudi. So very sad to hear of Rudi’s passing. We were at Andrew Warde together. And less than a year ago we were talking about a mini reunion. Very sad.
