Rutelia Ledbetter, age 86, born on Sunday, February 5, 1922, died on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at her home.

Mrs. Ledbetter retired from the Grand Hotel in Point Clear with 30 years of service, the last 20 years as a baker.

She is survived by her very devoted daughter, Luella (Elbert) Tarver of Fairhope, a sister, Bernice Turner of Gulfport, MS, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will on Friday, September 5, 2008 from 3 PM until 8 PM at Hughes Cremation & Funeral Service in Daphne and on Saturday from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral at New Era Missionary Baptist Church in Fairhope, Rev. Louis E. Franks, Pastor and Rev. Charles Farmer, officiating. Interment will be in Twin Beech Cemetery in Fairhope.
