Ruth Burnett Hancock – age 94, a native of Tallalujah, Louisiana and a resident of Baldwin County since 1995, died Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at a local healthcare facility. Mrs Hancock was a former resident of Alcorn County, Miss. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.S. Hancock. Survivors include her son, James R.(Joanne)Hancock of Spanish Fort, Alabama; one grandaughter, Cynthia(Jim)Young of Daphne; one grandson, Thomas R.Hancock of Theodore; and one great granddaughter, Stephanie (Andrew) Prescott of Malbis. Graveside services and interment will be at 2PM Monday, September 11, 2006 at Rienzi Cemetery in Rienzi,Miss. The family suggests memorials to your church or favorite charity.
