In Loving Memory

Sao Seelapasay

July 6, 1958 - July 4, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Sao Seelapasay, known to her grandchildren as Mae Mae, announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, July 4th, 2023 at the age of 64. She fell into eternal sleep while resting in her bed.

Sao will be lovingly remembered by her husband Manh; children, Pai, Panmuang, Chanhsamon, John; daughter-in-laws, Sara, Vai, Asa; son-in-law, Shiva; grandchildren, Anthony, Anisa, Paige, Taylor, Bryce, Noor, Avery, Arden; and numerous other family members and friends.

Sao devoted her life to her family and friends. She tended to all of her children and grandchildren the way she cultivated her bountiful garden. Sao fed anyone and everyone and became a second mother to many. Many will miss her giving spirit.

Sao loved her one and only love, Manh, for 50 years. Recently Sao and Manh enjoyed long drives to visit their son, Panmuang, in Alabama. During their trips Sao fell in love with the peaceful, beautiful landscape near the beach and decided to move there. We wish she had more time to enjoy life near the water with family, and that we had more time to spend with her.
