In Loving Memory

Shelia Ann Harrison-Hanenkrat, 63 of Daphne, passed away Monday September 16, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Shelia was a long-time resident of Baldwin County and graduated from Robertsdale High School. She had worked as business manager for Sandy Sansing Chevrolet and the Joe Bullard Companies. For 12 years Shelia was the business and operations manager of Baldwin County Mental Health. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Shelia is preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Harrison Smith. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Don Hanenkrat; son, Robin “Robbie” Harrison and his special friend, Kelly both of Daphne; brothers, Steve (Liz) Strickland and Ricky (Lynn) Strickland all of Silverhill; sister, Sandra (Rick Harris) Cook of Robertsdale; step-children, Jeff Hanenkrat of Mobile, Wendy Hitchcock and Michele (Darrell) Larkin all of Dover, Ohio and Mike (Donna) Hanenkrat of Mobile; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Shelia’s life will be held at 6PM Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Hughes Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mercy Medical Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
