Ted White, a native of Rankin County, MS and a resident of Elberta, AL, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the age of 82.
Ted was a home builder in Baldwin County, AL since 1980. He enjoyed designing and building custom projects. He loved working and teaching others how to build. Ted was always smiling and supportive of everyone. He loved his family and friends and greatly adored his grandchildren. He was a member at City Hope Church in Foley.
Ted is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mildred White; his only son, Mark; brothers, Ned, Jack and Joe White; sisters-in-law, Evelyn White, Brenda White; nephews, Jackie White, Bob White and Ryan White
He is survived by his lovely wife of 62 years, Mary White; two daughters, Alison (Wade) Stanford of Orange Beach, AL and Amanda (Damon) Stewart of Spanish Fort, AL; grandchildren Leslie (Matt) White-Brantley, Tamara White, Jamison Stewart, Jordan (Sam) Holt, and Jaclyn Stewart; great-grandchildren, Forrest White, Trinity King, Lola Heaton, Blaine White, Bailey Nickerson and Bentley Stewart; siblings, Tommy (Ann) White, Kenneth White; sisters-in-law, Lanell White, Jo White and Evelyn McMillan; many nieces, nephews, cousin and friends; and his beloved son’s pet, Runt Runt.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Rd. in Daphne. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to City Hope Church in Foley.
