Thomas Owen “Tommy” Williamson, a native of Mobile and a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at the age of 81.
Tommy worked in sales until his retirement. He was passionate about Alabama Football and his brain held so many facts about Alabama, as well as Major League Baseball. Tommy was a history buff and could have been a professor with his knowledge of WWI and WWII. He enjoyed a walk by the bay every day with his dog, Katie. Tommy loved the Lord and would share Jesus with everyone who crossed his path.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Tennie Kathryn Williamson; his parents, Owen Sebastian “Joseph” Williamson and Margaret Lyons Williamson; sister, Katye Bills; brother, Jim Steber; and Muffin The Wonder Dog.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Sharon Anne Williamson; children, Kimberly Lang of Fairhope, AL, Lee Newton of Foley, AL, Lou Lynn (Andrew) of Spanish Fort, AL and Jennifer Williamson of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Roslyn Karr (Ed), Kirven McIntyre (Robert Dean), Alex Nelson (Derrick), Olivia Williamson (Tiana), Hannah Williams (Daniel), Logan Webb, Hayden Webb, Anne Pearce Lynn, Essie Kate Lynn and Hudson Lynn; 13 great-grandchildren; and his pet, Katie.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at City Hope Church, 29964 St. Basil Street, Daphne, AL, at 11AM. There will be a time of visitation before the service beginning at 10AM.
