Vernita Morgan Simms, 82, a resident of Mobile, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2011.

She is survived by her loving husband, Howard; 1 daughter, Yolanda Ladnier and 2 sons, Aaron Flowers and Dennis (Diane) Flowers; a stepson, Daniel Simms, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, March 7, 2011, at Sage Avenue Baptist Church, 150 S Sage Avenue, Mobile. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00am.
