Vickie Price Adams of Daphne, Alabama, 68, passed away on July 6, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Vickie was born in Converse, Louisiana, on January 16, 1958, to L.P. and Madge Price.
At just 17 years old, Vickie married the love of her life, Chris Eugene Adams, on August 15, 1975. Together they built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and love. This August would have marked 51 years of marriage, a testament to the commitment they shared and the family they created.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L.P. and Madge Price. She is survived by her devoted husband, Chris Adams; her children, Scott Adams (Melissa), Ashley Davis (Reid), and Lauren Adams (Alex Kiley); her six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara English; her brother, Jackie Price (Sherry); as well as a host of cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Vickie loved fiercely and made everyone who entered her home feel like family. Her greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother, and especially “Mimi.” She loved cooking for the people she cared about, gathering everyone around the table, and making sure no one ever left hungry or without feeling loved. She was famous for her red velvet cake.
She loved tending to her flowers and spending time by the backyard pool Chris built for her. She found joy in quilting, adored her orange cats, Shelby and Miles, had a soft spot for anything cute and pink, and sure did love an ice-cold Coca-Cola.
Anyone who knew Vickie also knew she kept the thermostat low enough that Chris and Lauren joked they expected to see penguins running through the house. It became one of the many little things that made her uniquely Vickie and still brings smiles through the tears.
More than anything, Vickie loved people well. She gave generously of herself, opened her home freely, and had a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family will continue to live on in those she touched.
The family finds comfort in the hope of Christ and the promise that this is not goodbye, but until we meet again. What a mighty God we serve!
Visitation will be held at Mars Hill Church, 1087 Downtowner Blvd., Mobile, AL 36609, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., with a service to follow at 2:00 p.m.

We have known Vickie and her family for over 30 years. We met them at church in Montgomery, Alabama, before we had children and when theirs were still very young. She was a loving and gentle person with amazing cooking skills! We will miss her and look forward to seeing her again, whole, healthy, and happy in heaven.
