John Daniel Richardson, 77, of Foley, Alabama, passed away August 21, 2026, at Sacred Heart Hospital, in Pensacola, Florida.
John was born on October 11, 1948, in Aberdeen, Mississippi. He served in the United States Army, and was a Deputy with the Jones County Sheriffs Department in his 20’s. Later in life, John was an over the road truck driver. He was enjoying retirement and spending time with family and friends.
John is proceeded in death by his parents, Purvie and Lois Richardson. He is survived by his life partner, Joyce Allen; his daughters, Kimberly Goff (Mark) and Niki Rogers; his sister, Mary Lois Bray (Willie); and many grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Open Door Baptist Church, 20774 County Rd 12 S. in Foley, AL, from 11AM to 1PM. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the church.
